I-71, I-90, I-490 Lane Restrictions Go Into Effect Sunday

CLEVELAND — Parts of I-71, I-90 and I-490 will be restricted due to road work this weekend. The Ohio Department of Transportation is replacing the Scranton Road bridge deck. A slate of new lane restrictions and brief closures will go into effect on Sunday and will continue through early March, the department said. Here are the new lane closures and restrictions: I-71, I-90 and I-490 under Scranton Road will have off-peak lane restrictions. I-71, I-90 and I-490 under Scranton Road, between 12 a.m. and 5 a.m., will have short duration lane closures lasting approximately 15 minutes. The bridge deck replacement project should be completed by June 2022, the Ohio Department of Transportation said.
