The Gardner School of Minneapolis Celebrates One Year Anniversary

Though the first two quarters of 2020 have looked a bit different in the early childhood education industry due to COVID-19, The Gardner School has pressed forward with its mission of providing academically-focused learning opportunities for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years through at-home learning resources until recently being able to safely reopen doors for families in need of childcare. With four preschools in the greater Minneapolis area, The Gardner School first opened its doors in downtown Minneapolis last summer and has provided a convenient and safe childcare center in the 811 LaSalle building on the ground level. Regarding the one-year anniversary of The Gardner School of Minneapolis, Regional Director Rochelle Koznick says, “We are proud of the past year of achievements from our students and staff at The Gardner School of Minneapolis. The teachers and leadership team go the extra mile for students and their families that work and live downtown.” Executive School Director at The Gardner School of Minneapolis, Katie Anderson, commented about the one-year anniversary, saying, “We love celebrations at The Gardner School, but now more than ever, safety is our top priority. We created a fun atmosphere throughout the school with balloons and party decor, as well as some individually-wrapped anniversary treats for our students, staff, and families to enjoy.” The Gardner School of Minneapolis is more than a traditional preschool or child care facility, offering families a stimulating and educationally-engineered space that includes a beautiful indoor playscape, secure rooftop playground, state-of-the-art classrooms, a Kids’ Café and enrichment room, a computer room, and a nursing room.
