Press release from East Aurora School District 131: February 23, 2022 The applications for the 2022-23 Magnet Academy programs at Johnson Elementary (for incoming 3rd graders) and Fred Rodgers Magnet Academy (for incoming 6th graders) are now open. Read below for more information. The application for the 2022-23 Magnet Academy program at Johnson Elementary for incoming 3rd graders is now open. Johnson Elementary serves students in grades 1 through 5, with the Magnet Academy serving students in grades 3-5. Parents and guardians of current second graders who will enter third grade in the fall are invited to apply and enter the lottery. Please complete the application if you are interested in enrolling your child into the Magnet Lottery for Johnson Elementary. Applications close on Friday, March 18, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. Eligibility criteria will include achievement scores on MAP test Reading and Math, teacher recommendations, and student grades. The Fred Rodgers Magnet Academy application for the 2022-23 school year for incoming 6th graders is now open. Parents and guardians of current fifth graders who will enter sixth grade in the fall are invited to apply and enter the lottery. Please complete the application if you are interested in enrolling your child to Fred Rodgers Magnet Academy.
