ATTENTION: VINYL WINDOW AND PATIO DOOR INSTALLERS!!!! AJH is a construction base company seeking hard working and motivated talent, that’s looking to excel and grow within the construction industry. Since we offer specialty services, projects are NOT limited to Vinyl Windows and Patio Doors installation, or exterior finishings; we have plenty of work to offer with room for advancement, and promising wage increases. Because our team members are valuable assets of our company, we guarantee 8 hours of pay even if it’s a 6-hour workday, and we are excited to welcome new prospects! Currently, we are seeking talented Vinyl Window and Patio Door Installers, Project Managers and Construction Apprentices. Job Responsibilities Construction Apprentice (no experience needed) • Understanding the purpose and proper use of basic tools. • Ensure tools are properly put up at the end of the workday. • Ability to work in changing weather conditions. • Assist Lead Installer as requested. • Help with the installation of windows and doors as directed. • Maintain a clean work site (picks up all tools & equipment on jobsite). • Understand how to install patio doors and windows efficiently after 4 weeks. • Must be a self-starter with the ability to adapt to changing priorities. Window Installer • Installers must be experience with vinyl windows and Patio doors. • Efficient with using an aluminum break. • Basic knowledge on how to use a square and level. • Ability to work 2 stories on ladders or with boom lifts. • Maintain a clean workspace. • Ensure proper safety & incident reporting procedures are followed. • Provide high-quality and professional appearance and customer service. • Reliable Transportation. Project Manager: Our Project Manager services both the overall business of the company and the needs of customers by serving as the primary face and representative of the company. This position manages all aspects of the customer experience and vendor relationship post-sale up to final installation. The Project manager is responsible for assessing a job site to evaluate the efficacy of the original home remodeling agreement. Use of company truck, gas card, and an office comes with this position. Responsibilities: • Responsible for interpreting and implementing management policies and operating practices. • Responsible for inspecting and evaluating all aspects of the proposed site/project. to make an independent determination of the scope of work and viability of intended project. • Advise customers on financing and possible changes to scope. • Creates precise measurements at each job site. • Responsible for confirming post-inspection. • Responsible for selecting and managing the procurement of all materials. • Analyzes all legal requirements related to licensing and permitting. • Ensures statutory and regulatory compliance with regards to safety and health. • Completes various administrative tasks in the office as needed. • Must have a valid driver’s license and be capable of driving to, from, and in between sites as needed. • Other field task as assigned by Management. Required Education and Experience: • 1-2 years of Construction Management experience • A polished and professional. • Professionalism is VERY important. • Self-motivated and discipline. • An ambitious and competitive nature. • Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills. • Resourceful problem-solving abilities. • Highly evolved customer service skills. • A personality and skill set that is scalable. • Top notch customer service skills.
