Description
Service yachts while out of the water at our shop within Safe Harbor Shelter Island boat yard. Experience preferred, strong mechanical aptitude a must. Strong knowledge of tools a must. You are required to have your own general tools.
Repair and replace seacocks, cutlass bearing, transducers, drive shafts and rudder systems. Dive line alignments and engine mount replacements.
D.C. electrical trouble shooting and repair. A.C. electrical system trouble shooting and repair.
Pressurized freshwater system repairs and installation.
Must be able to lift 80 pounds, work in small spaces and work from your knees for long periods of time.
Majority of work is onsite with some travel to local marinas.
Must have a driver's license and your own car or truck with insurance to provide service at local marinas when needed.
