Construction Worker Wanted! We, MC2 Fiber Optics, Inc, are a steady growing company looking to expand our current team roster. We perform various construction duties such as pouring concrete, laying asphalt, digging trenches, tree trimming and/or traffic control, just to name a few. You will work with (and may assist) our fiber optic technicians while at the jobsite. We value Honesty, Integrity, Curiosity and taking the Initiative, to the highest of standards. We expect all employees to represent our company by showing these values on and off the job site. Days begin very early, and we expect our crew members to be punctual when reporting to our warehouse. Before leaving the warehouse to a jobsite, you will be responsible for loading the fleet boom truck with material and/or equipment needed for the day. You may also be responsible for traveling to a local supply company to pick up material and/or equipment needed to complete the job at hand. While at the jobsite, crew members are responsible for the material and/or equipment being utilized on-site to avoid damage, loss of person or property, and/or accidents. Upon returning to the warehouse, you will also be responsible for unloading any unused material and/or equipment. Responsibilities include, but not limited to: • Punctuality, it is a MUST • Underground and Aerial construction work • Operating heavy machinery/equipment • Drive large fleet truck and trailers • May work with fiber technicians to install or repair fiber optics systems Requirements: • Must have a clean motor vehicle driving recording • Must not be color-blind • Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds • Must be legal to work in the US (no restrictions) • Able to pass a drug test • Cannot be afraid of heights (acrophobia) Skills (not necessary but a plus): • Spatial Awareness • Commercial Class A license • Attention to detail • Basic map reading • Bilingual is a huge plus (preferably Spanish)
