Looking for a fulltime employee, M-F 7:30am-4:00pm. Great benefits, paid holidays and room for growth. This is a small company so flexibility is a must. You must be able to work independently after training and willing to switch between responsibilities as needed. The warehouse clerk is an integral part of the warehouse team. The warehouse clerk helps fill, pack and ship orders, tag and assemble merchandise, maintain physical inventory counts and keep the warehouse clean. This position has the following duties: • Read customer orders • Pull merchandise from shelves • Count merchandise pulled to confirm the proper count • Tag merchandise • Assemble merchandise • Pack and ship merchandise • Count physical inventory • Receive Inventory • Help organize the warehouse and work area and keep orderly It is expected that this position will achieve the following results-based outcomes: • Fill orders the day they are due • Fill orders accurately • Tag and/or assemble merchandise accurately and within the time frames provided Required: • Ability to do simple math calculations • Ability to communicate effectively in English • Ability to use MS Excel, Word and Outlook Required: • High school diploma or GED • Warehouse experience • Familiarity with warehouse procedures Preferred: • A working knowledge of order processing systems • Familiarity with inventory software The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those typically encountered while performing the essential functions of this position. Warehouse environment may be cold or hot at times based on season. The Warehouse Clerk will be subjected to dust and other debris related to warehouse and shipping operations. Ability to work a flexible schedule and may need to work overtime as needed. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is active and requires standing, walking, and bending throughout the day. The employee may need to frequently lift and/or move items over 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
