Description

I'm trying to find a home for my 10 month old Australian shepherd, baby.. She is kennel trained and Potty trained for the most part but she will have accidents if she is left alone for too long.. she is spayed and fully vaccinated. Her rehoming fee is $500 Some of her flaws are: she will dig if left unattended in the back yard for long periods of time. she is very persistent with attention seeking behavior and when she is with you she wants all of your attention and will consistently nudge your hand or whine. She has absolutely no respect for personal space and will not hesitate to walk all over you while sitting on the couch and will basically demand to be snuggled (not really too bad but still can be overwhelming), and lastly she does tend to jump on people when she's excited. All of these things are definitely trainable, but I just don't have the time or resources to handle that at the moment. Other than that she is a fantastic companion, very loyal and loving, always wants to be by your side. Her ideal home would be one where she is either the only dog or with a very playful younger dog. A backyard is absolutely required and she will need to go for at least one long walk or 2 shorter walks per day. She is a very high energy breed and needs a lot of mental stimulation while not exercising. She has been raised around other dogs of all sizes but would probably do best with larger dogs and she has also been raised around cats, she does well with my cats and mainly ignores them but she will need to be with a dog savvy cat who won't mind correcting her if she gets in their face. Right now I work from home so she's been with me almost 247 so she will need someone who's not going to be gone for a long period of time. As far as I know she doesn't have really bad separation anxiety but I'm only gone for maybe a couple hours per day so I would prefer someone with the same kind of work schedule. The main things that I want for her is a family who is going to take care of her and cuddle with her all the time because that's what she really enjoys doing but also she needs a lot of physical exercise so an active family is necessary. I would prefer a home with older children if possible because she does Chase people if she sees them running (herding them) so running children would probably not be a good idea. She also has potential to be a good working dog but she hasn't been trained for that. Please email me a little bit about yourself or text me at , please do not call
