President Biden cancelled only items that could possibly have a very small effect on far FUTURE pricing--it had no effect on current oil pricing which are set on a worldwide stage. Currently in the USA, the vast majority of oil leases that have already been "let" are going unexploited because tax procedures allow rapid depreciation of those leases so they are more valuable sitting unused than pumping oil. Hence one of the examples you mention (I'm assuming you mean cancelling the allowance of future leases in ANWAR) above is nothing but a red herring that had zero effect on current or even future oil pricing. The main reason current pricing is a bit high is that OPEC got their act together and made a major production cut. You remember OPEC. don't you? Led by those guys who's ass Trump Jr and Jared kissed, even after they brutally murdered a US Journalist? The guys Trump played "rub the orb" with and praised even though they financed the 9/11 hijackers? Because that is the source of most light sweet crude which is what gasoline is made from, the basic oil price goes up quickly when they monkey with quotas. Trump CANCELLED the sanctions on Putin and his henchmen early on in his administration. Congress had to vote sanctions back in with a high enough majority to be veto-proof: So both Democrats and GOP supported sanctions while Trump was giving Putin a pass for his illegal takeover of the Crimea. Trump is also responsible for removing any wording about that same issue from the GOP 2016 platform. That was the same time Kushner was setting up a "secret back channel" to Putin via the Russian Embassy in DC (https://www.pbs.org/newshour/politics/explainer-jared-kushners-attempted-back-channel-russia-treasonous-typical) And Trump lied to you and every USA citizen about the deal he was working on with Putin for a Trump Hotel Moscow at the same time...financed by the Russian State bank so they would have had a financial hold on Trump while he was president it if hadn't fallen through due to the deal's discovery and bad optics. When Ukraine would not bow to illegal political pressures from Trump, he withheld the already approved military support, furthering Putins hold on the region...again, Congress had to act because Trump wouldn't. For that illegal act, Trump was impeached. And in spite of the continuous lies from the right, the Meuller Report did find and explain Russian Collusion by the Trump Campaign. About 150 instances of contact with Russian Oligarchs directly tied to Putin and the the FSB (formerly the KGB). Barr lied so badly about this that Meuller had to write a second letter clarifying that what Barr claimed he said was a falsehood. And Roger Stone admitted to working with the Russians through Assange to release illegally obtained (and doctored in most cases) e-mails. Trump pardoned Stone for that loyalty and illegal witness tampering in attempt to cover up that act. So no, Trump is NOT hard on Russia, he's Putin's little bitch.
