We often take sides and create chaos in smaller countries across the world. We let Palestinians suffer and ignore Africa except for the wars. We are destroying many countries by sanctions, Smaller countries are tired and fearful. Times articles say there are issues that did not get resolved. Russia came to the table with their fear. Biden should have taken the opportunity and moved to give some, get more. In exchange for security for Putin, we could have negotiated security for eastern countries. Perhaps we should have taken risks and moved in the future for economic expansion to those countries. Our perpetual bad blood with Russia makes the future for Ukraine and smaller countries' economic future in limbo. Ultimately what counts is the economic future for the whole of Europe and hope for all lesser countries than the big three. Russia is a very big country, Utah, Wyoming, Montana etc. are very big states. Russia's population is 22 per square mile and the US is 92 per square mile. We both are very big countries. US GDP is 19.5 Trillion Russia GDP is 1.5 Trillion EURO GDP IS 17 TRILLION CHINA GDP 12 TRILLION UKRAINE GDP 175 BILLION Look at these GDP numbers. It looks like White guy driving a Mercedes goes nuts finding homeless man sleeping in his car. Biden could not negotiate a settlement in this country with GDP less than 10 % of ours. That is the poverty of our President and our culture. Exports The top exports of Russia are Crude Petroleum ($123B), Refined Petroleum ($66.2B), Petroleum Gas ($26.3B), Coal Briquettes ($17.6B), and Wheat ($8.14B), exporting mostly to China ($58.1B), Netherlands ($41.7B), Belarus ($20.5B), Germany ($18.9B), and Italy ($16.7B). What sanction means in this pathetic situation, a Couple hundred of Billion dollars worth fuel is nothing in dollar terms to Europe but Fuel makes wheel roll and it is easier with Russia than from the US. I would have told Putin, let us figure it out how you can export more gas to Europe. We will let you sell as much as you can, About your neighbors and you, we will sign a deal of no wars between East Europe and West Europe, perhaps a free trade. Russia has less than 70 Billion in Debt and about 700 Billion reserve. It will take years for sanction to get effect What Biden was blowing steam for. Overheated hot air? Less people will die in that war than weeks worth of slaughter in the US. If Russia is this much trouble, China will make Biden pee in his pants. He better wear diapers. If China takes over Taiwan! China had a 676 Billion dollar surplus with the world in 2021. Think about this?
