Looking for Drummer

Description

I'm looking to start a 3-piece band and I'd like to start with finding a drummer first. I've been writing and recording songs for the last 10 years just using guitar amp sims and midi drums - and I'd like to bring these songs to fruition and play live. I'm 32 with a stable career, wife, kids, etc. I'm past the partying stage of my life - I just want to throw the fuck down. I'm more interested in someone I vibe with that really feels the music over someone who is super proficient. I don't really care how fast you can play or that you can play Bleed better than Thomas Haake himself. Think more along the lines of The Chariot / '68 - they just jam super hard. Some more bands I'm into are Comeback Kid, Norma Jean, Protest the Hero, Every Time I Die. There's a link to some of my music below - it's varying degrees of metal. I wrote all of these sitting in front of a computer; I find that when I play my actual rig, I write simpler heavy songs that groove and allow me to sing/scream over them, so we might end up going that route. But at least this gives you an idea of what I do. I play a ESP LTD EC-1000 through an EVH 5150 III and an Orange 4x12 cab. I have a Gretsch Catalina Maple drum set that is ready to play. Recently re-headed the toms and bought a new double kick pedal and ride cymbal. I have 16" and 18" crashes and 13" fusion hats. You're welcome to use part or all of the kit or bring your own. We have a practice space in my folks' basement; they're on the east side, I'm located in Fishers. If any of this piques your interest, hit me up! https://soundcloud.com/alexxeilers/sets/da-ep-demos?utm_source=clipboard&utm_medium=text&utm_campaign=social_sharing
