ISO Medium-sized young dog or puppy **MUST BE TODDLER & CAT FRIENDLY**

We are a young, work-from-home family in search of a medium-sized (less than 50 lbs fully-grown), young dog or puppy to join our household. He or she will need to be tolerant of our rambunctious two-year-old son (who will NOT be allowed to pester the dog), and our laid-back cat. We are more than willing to perform reward-based obedience training and house training for the right pup. The dog will be kept predominantly indoors except for *leashed* walks and potty breaks and will be permitted to roam the house until bedtime, at which point they would be crated in our room. Requirements: - toddler-friendly - cat-friendly - NO purebred or mixed pit bulls, American bullies, rottweilers, pinchers, cattle dogs/heelers, aussies, akitas, huskys, malamutes, GSDs, spitz, feists, chihuahuas, or breeds prone to nipping/aggression/high prey drive (we love all dogs but cannot risk injury to our son, our cat, or ourselves). Preference will be given to: - golden doodles (and maybe labradoodles) - golden retrievers - bernedoodles (Burnese MTN dog x poodle) - small hound/mixes (unless a combo of breed from list above) - beagle/mixes (“”) - basset hound/mixes (“”) - Boston terrier/mixes (“”) - Olde English bulldog/mixes (“”), and - boxer/mixes (“”) (And if you can help me convince my husband that we really *do* need a Great Dane, those too!) 🐾 If you have a pup that you think might work for us, we are willing to consider any who meet these requirements.
