JOB DESCRIPTION - DUMP TRUCK DRIVER EXPERIENCE: 2 to 5 Years Preferred STARTING WAGE: $23.00 WORK WEEK: Typically 630am to 4pm, Monday to Friday OVERTIME: Available at 1.5x TERM: Full Time Boulder Excavation is looking to hire for the position of Truck Driver. You will be expected to take direction from the Owner of the company, and work independently on and off a job site. Applicants will be expected to be proficient with operation and the field maintenance of Dump Trucks and Flatbed Trailers. Class A CDL and ability to efficiently and safely move equipment and materials with a truck and trailer is a requirement for this position. A fleet vehicle work truck will be provided for you. These fleet vehicles are picked up and returned to our shop in Morrisville, VT daily. You will be paid from arrival at the shop in the morning to departure from the site in the afternoon. Fuel for fleet vehicles is provided. We plan for 9.5 hours of work during productive construction months, including a paid lunch. We ask that our team bring their lunch with them to site. As such, we plan on 1.5 hours of overtime per day as a standard. Expect additional overtime opportunities on top of this. Our standards for work will be clearly communicated to you. The expectation is that you will be able to execute these instructions accurately and in a timely fashion, and that you will ask questions when necessary in order to ensure a high quality work product. Truck Drivers are expected to clean and maintain their truck on a weekly basis. Time will be allotted for this work during the work week. This position will be expected to help with manual labor tasks when necessary. Equipment experience would count as favorable for applicants to this position. Familiarity with other trades such as carpentry, masonry and utility service will count favorably. All Boulder Excavation employees are expected to reflect the highest level of professionalism and service to our Clients. You will be in direct contact with property owners, general contractors and and partnered property management companies. Presenting yourself well is absolutely vital as you will be a direct representation of our brand to our customers. A means of dependable, personal transportation from your home to our shop is a requirement. Drug testing is standard practice here at Boulder Excavation. Applicant will need to pass a screening for employment, and can expect random drug testing throughout employment in accordance with labor laws.
