Harvest Processor / Packager Boring, OR compensation: Hourly wage employment type: Part time/full-time JOB SUMMARY Job Title: Harvest Processor/Packager/General help Reports to: Floor Manager Location: Boring, OR Must be 21 years or older to apply for this position. And must have valid OLCC Cannabis Handlers Card JOB PURPOSE Duties will vary from processing flower from the stalk, hanging and drying cannabis plant, moving potting soil, prepping grow rooms, transferring plants, potting, striping plants, packaging of finished product and Pre-roll production. Flower must be handled delicately, but with urgency and speed. Efficiency, accuracy, and traceability in all actions and tasks assigned. Production style work atmosphere- speed, accuracy, and consistency are crucial. Positive attitude to influence a healthy team culture is essential. No Experience Needed but preferred KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Fulfill all scheduled shifts in order to meet retailer delivery demands. Prepare plants for drying after harvest Hang flower to dry after it is harvested Ensure you are minimizing waste of buds that could be packaged Work in an organized and methodical manner Sanitizing and prepping Flower rooms Moving Potting soil as needed Pre-Roll Production and packaging Accurately count, process, and pack finished goods Responsible for accurate tracking and weighing of all production projects as assigned by supervisors Adhere to compliant, regulated work culture Positive outlook and attitude to contribute to a healthy team culture and environment Mon-Friday work week, but occasion will be required to work weekends Flexibility in other tasks as assigned No Experience Needed but preferred WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS This job can have a high amount of noise with music, machinery, dust, and talking. Requires prolonged sitting/standing and repetitive movements. Requires moderate lifting, as well as reaching, stooping, and kneeling tasks.
