Description

The Harlem Arts Council presents: Not (necessarily) Safe For Work night! Saturday, March 12 from 7-9 PM at the HAC Center hosted by comedian and author Rob Steele! This will be an open-mic experience that will feature local poetry, short-story readings and stand-up comedy! As with many things, it may not be entirely child friendly, thus the "necessarily" in the name. Poetry and comedy get that way, on occasion. It will be a good time, though. It's also a good time to show us what you can do if you want to be part of the 2022 Bloomin' Arts Festival list of performers! (Hint - showing us in person gets you a better spot to perform in.) If you would like to be a performer/reader, please fill out the form at www.harlemartscouncil.org/nnsfw. In addition to performing, Rob will be offering suggestions and hints from his 25+ years of experience in public speaking. (He also knows a bit about comedy and writing.) Remember, it will be in the theater part of the building which is in the back. The front door will be locked - the back door won't.
