If you have some computer hardware experience or just know your way around a computer and like to tinker and take things apart and put them back together, then this job would be perfect for you. You do not need extensive experience. Some exposure to working with computers, even if it's just your own computer, and a willingness to learn and are reliable and dependable is all you need to be successful on this job. Job Title: Computer Refurbishing Positions Shift: 1st - 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM Shift: 2nd - 1:00 PM to 10:30 PM Monday through Friday Some Overtime Pay Rate: $13 to $17 per hour range to start Temp to Hire MANPOWER STAFFING We have the best jobs in Albuquerque (and the best team) Email us, call us, text us or visit us ASAP These are great positions and they will go fast so don't delay Summary of Duties: Receive 10-15 pallets or carts containing various computer equipment a day. The various equipment will be laptops, PC’s, Servers and various hardware components. You will then proceed to either add the equipment to current customer orders or put the equipment in inventory for future orders. Another job task is to pull all current customer orders and then place the order with either the Configuration Team or give the order directly to the Shipping and Cleaning team. You will be trained on these duties. Once this process is completed, you will then verify that the serial numbers returned by Configuration team are correct to be sure customers are getting what they ordered. Other duties could include taking apart the computer. Check the battery life/strength using the software provided. (you'll be trained) The software will also help trouble shoot other things in the computer such as the bios, etc. If you know your way around a computer these duties can be easily taught to you. Do you like to tinker, take things apart? Being that these are used computers that are being refurbished, another duty will be to "grade" the outside of the computer. You will be trained on how to grade them. You will be looking for scratches, dents and things of that nature. Weigh, or measure items that are incoming and outgoing Put shipping labels on packed cartons, packages and boxes Put together wooden or cardboard boxes and container Pack up items and put into the boxes and containers Put tape, metal straps or plastic wrap around boxes to reinforce them before shipping Stamp, stencil, or glue identifying information and shipping instructions onto crates or containers
