I have been playing there off and on for many years now. A little about me... I played on cruise ships for a couple of years as a showband and lounge band drummer. I have performed and sight-read around a dozen Vegas-style production shows. I have been fortunate to play with some motown guest entertainers from groups like the Platters I am seeking an upright bass player for paid gigs around San Diego. I play Swampy Jazz and Dirty Blues with a New Orleans feel.Pro bass player available!. Mature Player. Pro gear / attitude. Experience in most genres of music. Prefer something a little heavier or weird but know all the standards! Rock, classic rock, power pop, punk, I really do some damage on funk, blues, some country and even dance! Jazz left me behind with those loud rock boys! If you have gigs, I'm there! We are not interested in virtual lessons. I'm looking to start up, fill in for a band. The styles that I can play are Rock and roll, rockabilly, blues, surf, instrumental, southern rock, country and flamenco. I have been playing lead and rhythm guitar for over 30 years. I can sing also, I have no problem being a front man if need be, quick learner and improvisation lead skills.
