Description

Responsible for operating and multiple set-ups of highly repetitive types of short cycle machine operations associated with quantity production of identical units. Use of machines such as Excellon CNC Drill, Dynachem Laminator, Millington Photo Table, Chemcut Etcher. • Read and understand blueprint drawings/specifications • Adjust machines to process materials according to blueprints/specifications • Set/operate equipment, feed the machine, and watch for imperfect operations • Help with equipment maintenance • Immediately report to supervisor any problems/issues with equipment • Use a wide variety of precision measuring instruments to verify parts produced meet dimensions. • Inspect production for defects • Complete all assigned paperwork as required • Perform other duties as assigned Required Skills & Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Simple addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and understanding the decimal system and adding and subtracting fractions. • Ability to read and understand internal procedures and policies. • Ability to understand and follow through on both verbal and written instructions • Work with minimum supervision • Team oriented with a continuous improvement outlook.
