Description
Overview:
Responsible for packing orders according to ticket specifications and also making local deliveries when current driver is not on shift.
Monday - Friday 8-5
Responsibilities Include:
Delivering freight.
Managing proof of delivery paperwork from customers and vendors.
Assisting workers in loading and unloading truck.
Checking mechanical aspects of the vehicle.
Maintaining appropriate driving records and/or logs as required.
Pulling orders and prepping for shipping
Helping to receive inventory and store in the proper locations.
Other duties as assigned.
Ideal Candidate:
Self-motivated and able to work independently.
Punctual and courteous.
Above average communication skills.
Experience driving a flat bed truck.
Willing to learn the warehouse products and be a member of the warehouse team.
Clean driving record, must be at least 25 years old for insurance reasons.
CDL is not required but must be able to pass DOT physical.
Background check and drug testing will be required
