The Cannabis Lab Assistant primary duties include preparing material for processing, cleaning different lab equipment, and other various tasks.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
● Prepare material for processing.
● Clean and sterilize equipment and work area.
● Disposing of waste and storing lab equipment after use.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
● High School Diploma or equivalent required.
● A critical thinker with strong attention to detail.
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
● Outstanding analytical abilities.
● Strong critical thinking skills, along with good attention to detail.
● Ability to work independently or with a team
● Must have a valid driver’s license
● Willing to travel to locations.
Physical Requirements:
● Able to kneel, bend, reach, rotate, and stoop on an intermittent to regular basis daily.
● Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds rarely.
● Climbing and working on a ladder if necessary.
● Working in a barn, greenhouse, and field with a wide temperature and humidity range. Additional Requirements:
● Consistent on-time attendance for all scheduled shifts.
● Willing to take direction.
● 25 - 40 hour week working schedule ( PT or FT )
● Ability to change tasks as necessary depending on priority.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Salary: $16.00 per hour
