Please when hiring someone to do like odds and ends jobs like a handyman would do, please do not hire an individual Joe Brown who may respond to some of you alls ad looking for someone to do any type of work around your home. He isn't licensed, nor does he have any insurance of any kind to cover any damages that may occur, His vehicle is stolen as well as the plate on the vehicle are stolen out of Independence MO. He has a felony burglary background, He will try and ask for money up front for materials and supplies whatever you do do not give him any money up front, If you decide to use him you purchase the materials, and you pay him when the job is complete. He used to work for KC Handyman Pro Tony Johnsons company, Mr. Johnson doesn't pay his employees takes money up front and never completes his jobs, reason jobs don't get finished is because Mr Johnson doesn't pay his help and their sick of making him money and completing the work and still getting nothing in the end. Mr Johnson and Mr Brown both took money up front from an out of town client who has rental properties in the KC area, to renovate one of her homes. Unfortunately the couple visited KC to see progress on the job and saw nothing was really getting done. They gave Mr Johnson $20,00 up front to complete the job and that covered all material to do so. Mr Johnson didn't complete the job and Kept the Money, and blamed Joe Brown for $10,000 of it being given to him to purchase the materials. needless to say they all were fired the c as they are crooks. Joe Brown took money from an old man out of KC KS to replace a window in his bathroom.. He never ordered or got the window kept the mans money and never did the job at all and never even once contacted the man out of consideration These are a few examples of what you can expect if you were to consider these individuals.. If you have already had contact with or currently employing either one of them if i were you get your money back from them and hire real professionals please do not delete as the public has the right to know about this when it comes to hiring people for work in their homes.
