A & M Auto World Inc is looking to add a qualified Auto Service Advisors to our team! This person would be responsible for communicating with customers about their vehicle repair needs and relaying information to the Service Technicians. As an advisor they will determine repairs and relevant costs, maintaining up-to-date knowledge about our companies range of services and contacting customers to update them about their vehicle’s repair status. The ideal candidate would be responsible, reliable, optimistic, and always willing to help. Workload and responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Ordering auto parts while always making price comparisons for company’s best interest. • Maintaining inventory of parts and shop supplies. • Test driving and running diagnostics on our inventory vehicles as well as customer vehicles. • Creating invoices for customers using the program All Data. • Consulting with technicians about needed repairs and alternatives that can be offered in place of expensive repairs • Answering customer questions about service outcomes and consulting with technicians when necessary • Overseeing and managing the scheduling and workflow of customer vehicles • Informing customers of changes in service or when their vehicle is ready to be picked up This position would be ideal out of work/retired mechanics as they will need extensive automotive experience. We strongly believe in helping the team. Yard/office help may be requested when needed.
