Job description Overhead Door Co. of Danvers, is a local, well established distributor of garage doors that has immediate openings for full time Garage Door Installers / Service Technicians for our rapidly growing installation and service departments. Essential duties and responsibilities: Determine layout and installation procedures. Assemble and install overhead garage doors and electric operators. Demonstrate effective troubleshooting and problem solving skills. Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment. Effectively manage time and resources to control costs, enhance efficiency and meet commitments. Build strong customer relationships Promote Overhead Door brand products, services and maintenance programs. Complete work order forms and other required paperwork in accordance with company standards. Performs other projects and duties as assigned. Required Qualifications: Experience that includes commercial or residential garage door installation working with door hardware, electronic wiring, or experience with electronic door operators is a plus. Mechanically adept individuals who can lift up to 100 pounds. Previous welding experience a plus Previous electrical experience a plus. Experience working with basic hand and power tools. Ability to effectively communicate with the customer and represent the company in a professional manner at all times. Applicant MUST possess a valid MA driver’s license with clean driving record, and provide own hand tools.
