We are seeking responsible applicants to serve as Traffic Control Apprentices (Flaggers) or experienced Crew Leads in our West Palm Beach, FL facility. What you will do as a Traffic Control Apprentice: Set up and maintain Traffic Control Work Zones to meet customer and DOT needs. Work as a team to ensure proper work zone coverage and safety awareness. Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety. Physical ability to move traffic control equipment, stand and walk in outdoor temperatures for long periods of time. Must maintain a courteous and professional manner with co-workers, customers, and the public. Requirements: **MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE** Able to work flexible hours with a normal shift of 8 to 12 hours. Able to lift 30 to 50 pounds. Able to be flexible with last-minute schedule changes. Overtime work available and required. Night work may be available and required. You begin as an apprentice and can move up based on motivation and your ability to perform your role well. Once you obtain the Tier 2 level, you can continue to move up the 4-tiered system with commitment and excellent job performance ultimately reaching the top tier, project manager, where you become a member of our management team. With each move up the tier system, comes an increase in pay. You will continue to receive annual pay increases. Your pay is not maxed out when you reach our top tier. You will continue to be rewarded for your hard work and dedication.
