Come be part of an exciting project at Via Mizner Golf and City Club! The Golf Course Equipment Operator operates light motorized equipment on the golf course, and performs related work as needed. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Operates a variety of small and large power equipment • Mowing specified golf course areas including putting greens, tees, approaches, fairways, and roughs • Performs routine bunker maintenance, sandscape, and cart path raking, edging grass lines and sprinkler heads • Divot repair and other golf course tasks and repairs • Other duties include edging, sodding, pruning, installing mulch or pine straw, cup cutting • Performs other duties as assigned by Superintendent and/or Assistant Superintendent Requirements: • Requires knowledge of the safe operation of motorized equipment • Must have knowledge of maintenance tools • Must adhere to all standard safety practices • Must be able to work outside in the sun and heat • Requires consistent bending, stooping, stretching, pulling, pushing, shoveling • Must be able to lift over 50lbs. and walk, sit or stand for extended periods of time while performing job functions • Must comply with company policies and procedures • Ability to read and interpret safety documents, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals • Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing, understand and carry out verbal and written instructions • Must be responsible, dependable, and punctual • Must be able to maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and Superintendents. • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination and experience EEOE and Drug- free workplace TO APPLY:
