The 5th Annual Teen Safety Summit: Celebrating Our Success is a one day summit designed to educate and empower youth. After a two year pause we are excited to be able to host this event again! This one day summit will be focus on addressing a number of topics teens face everyday. The target audience for this event is teens ages 13-20, school personnel, school resource officers, community police officers, parents and community members who work with teens everyday. We will have dynamic keynote speakers and workshop presentations as well as food, fun and prizes! Light breakfast and full lunch will be provided. This event is FREE but space is limited. In light of COVID-19 still being in our mist we opted for an outdoor venue this year. Since Mother Nature sometimes has a mind of her own we do have a rain date of 5/26/22 reserved. Our opening keynote Pam Garramone will be delivering a fun and powerful message on the Power of Positivity! "7 Ways to feel happier instantly" Comedian Craig Tornquist will be our emcee for the day and will also deliver an encouraging message to close out the day. A taskforce created and overseen by Bristol County District Attorney Thomas M. Quinn, III to address underage drinking, substance use and dangerous drug trends among teens in the Bristol County area of Massachusetts.
