Learn how to take advanced Vital Signs in this 2.5 hour interactive class for parents with Nurse Lauren! Come join Practical Medicine, LLC for this interactive and informative class! Learn more about manual vital signs and many common emergencies in adults and pediatrics with a Registered Nurse (former ER nurse). We will go over: temperature and signs of dehydration, respirations and manual pulse (for the times you don't have your pulse oximeter with you!), examination of the throat with an otoscope, checking pupilary reflex! Bonus: signs for Appendicitis! Learn what’s normal and not normal and when to stay home, call the doctor or go to the emergency room. We will be pairing up for the interactive part of class.
