Virtual First Fridays Offers Aurora Art In Coronavirus Shutdown

AURORA, IL — The current new coronavirus shutdown isn't stopping downtown Aurora from hosting its First Fridays arts event. The only difference is that this time they're doing it virtually. First Fridays is partnering with local businesses to offer online entertainment and demos from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. on April 3. Marissa Amoni, Aurora Downtown manager, said in a statement, "The community has supported First Fridays as it has grown from a handful of venues to more than 30. Now it's time for us to thank everyone by coming to them as they stay at home. We are excited to bring art, music, and more into homes near and far for April's First Fridays event."
