In business for over 60 years, Continental Western Corporation is a leading supplier of an entire line of packaging and cordage products in the United States. Our product line includes strapping, rope, twine, stretch film, tools, corrugated tape, janitorial products and much more. CWC currently is looking for a seasoned Warehouse person who will be part of our warehouse team that is responsible for the day to day operations of the warehouse in our Addison, IL facility. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Process inbound/outbound shipments and branch transfers. • Pick, pack, & ship orders. • Unload containers and other vendor shipments. • Reconcile discrepancies in inventory records. • Schedule shipments and negotiate to obtain the best rates available. • Maintain appropriate service levels to internal & external customers. QUALIFICATIONS: • Minimum 2 years of warehouse experience. • Possess basic computer skills including Outlook and Internet Explorer. • Willing to work overtime when required. • Good physical condition. Ability to climb, stoop, bend, crawl & kneel. • Ability to lift 70 lbs. • Speak English clearly and write legibly. • Ability to drive a forklift – certification preferred. • Positive and pro-active attitude.
