General Laborer - Must Have Your Own Transportation

We are a growing painting and remodeling company by the name of Dream Builders. Our primary focus is larger scale remodeling and painting work. We are currently two guys with painting, carpentry, and electrical experience and are seeking a highly motivated individual. Although the primary job is laborer, you will have an opportunity to learn and gain experience in various trades. As your competency in each area of work grows, so will your compensation ($). The general laborer pay rate starts at $15/ hr and can go up to $18/ hr based on knowledge, experience, and speed of completion for the following tasks: - Load in of materials (ie studs, lumber, tools, flooring, trim / casing / molding, etc...) - Organization of job site - Assisting in the tidying of job sites at the end of each day and at the end of each project. - Cutting material (Knowledge of miter saw, lig saw, table saw, circular saw, coping saw, grinder, chop saw, metal- cutting snips, and other cutting tools is preferred) - Painting - general painting of walls and ceilings - Applying protective rosin paper, X-Board, plastic, tarps, and masking at the start of jobs. - OPTIONAL - Transporting material (paid gas and time) WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? We are seeking a passionate individual who's not just looking for some random job to pay the bills. We believe in paying a fair wage but we also believe in teaching and uplifting our team members so they can move up and earn even more! Having your own tools isn't necessary to start, but it is preferred that all team members have at-least a tape measure, a tool belt, a hammer, a speed square, and other basic tools. Ideally we are looking for someone who portrays the following qualities: - Searching for a job with future advancement opportunities - Fair wages, even for those with little experience - Has a general understanding and experience level with all of the tasks mentioned in the Project Description - Is looking for something long-term - HAVING YOUR OWN TRANSPORTATION IS A MUST. Picking up materials or transporting is not required, but you must have reliable transportation to and from job sites. - Is respectful to team members, customers, and people in general - Has a positive attitude and is growth minded! - Seeking a work environment that is encouraging, motivating, and enjoyable.
