Loma Lind University Children's Hospital will be hosting the 37th Annual Children's Day Event on March 9th!
Farmer Boys®, the Southern California-based fast casual restaurant chain known for its award-winning burgers and exceptional service, has partnered with Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital (LLUCH) to sponsor and participate in the 37th Annual Children’s Day Event! The 2022 event will be held on March 9th from 8:30am-2pm at the Loma Linda University Drayson Center (25040 Stewart St) and will be free to the public with or without registration. This year marks Farmer Boys’ tenth year sponsoring and participating in the Children’s Day event and more than 2 decades supporting LLUCH programs year-round through the restaurants’ in-store ‘round it up’ fundraiser.
Recommended for young children ages 3-8, the Children’s Day event aims to provide hands-on learning activities to teach children about hospital education and feel comfortable in the hospital environment. Farmer Boys will provide lunch for company volunteers and host two interactive booths, including a ‘Spin-the-Wheel’ for kids to win sunglasses, bobble heads and other prizes, and a farm animal petting zoo where children and families will get to pet ducks, pygmy goats, guinea pigs, chickens, pot-belly pigs, tortoises and bunny rabbits. Other event booths will include a Teddy Bear Check-up and Immunization Clinic, pretend finger casting, ‘doc for a day’, a show & tell with Dr. Hayes’ venomous animals, dental health, fire safety, and other Loma Linda University Health Department booths providing health educational experiences for children.
