Hi there! I’m so excited to introduce myself and offer my Nanny/Life Assistant Services! When I decided to leave a career in Insurance Sales, my goal was to find work that I love rather than pursue another Career that I don't. I realized that I could help a busy family or two with all kinds of things from Childcare to Pet Care, Lawn Care, Cooking, Cleaning, Errands, transportation, etc...and this would allow me to do the things I enjoy and have the skills for it all! I'm a 49-year-old, Mother to 3 fantastic Sons ages 2 months shy of 16, 19 and 30. I have great availability other than overnight due to my dog. I don't drink or smoke, am fully vaccinated and very healthy and fit. I would live in a forest by a river if I could but luckily, at least, I live on Lake Whatcom by Blo Del. I have Lake access that kids would have a blast at this Summer! I would LOVE to find a busy family to take care of and we would have a great time! I have lived in Bellingham since 1989 and have excellent references. I had a licensed home daycare from 2004-2007 caring for 6 children ages 3 mo-5 yr, single handed, even while pregnant and/or with a nursing newborn. Other work experience is in Health Insurance and HR Management. Skills: Engaging childcare provider that loves to play WITH the kids, make art, play games, read to them, cook/bake with them, help with schoolwork and learning. Excellent Cook and Baker and can adhere to dietary requirements. Thorough/Detailed Cleaner. Love of Landscaping and all things outside. I know where lots of cool places are and go out to play year round. Experience with a wide variety of pets - dogs, cats, birds, fish tanks, reptiles, rodents, horses. I am extremely familiar with all things ‘Bellingham’ and LOVE to explore and adventure. Reading - I love to read and would enjoy passing on the appreciation of books.
