Description
Warehouse Stock Associate is the liaison between receiving, storeroom, warehouse, and production work cells. This associate shall be fully responsible for ensuring the production lines/work cells have all required materials, when they need it, in order to meet production schedules and customer demand. This Support Associate will replenish empty bins, maintain stockroom integrity, pull components and other product as needed. This associate is also accountable for inventory accuracy of the stockroom, warehouse, and production cells through use of Cycle Counts, Physical Inventories, or any other method used to guarantee accurate inventory counts. Responsibilities: Will include and shall not be limited to the following • Work in conjunction with receiving to ensure incoming material is delivered to the proper location, (Inspection, stock room, warehouse, point of use, the requester, etc.). If bin location is not available, assign a new one. • Restocking of the Production Line/Cells including filling point of use bins. • Maintain Kanban Integrity- Check card for data correctness (part number, location, description, etc.) and ensure the Kanban cards get turned in at the proper interval for replenishment. • Communicate all issues, concerns, or errors to the relevant parties effected as well as their own direct supervisor/manager • Pull and deliver product/material from a 2nd warehouse as needed • Maintain accurate records and inventory control; perform Req-outs & Req-ins, track MRB materials, issue material to Work-orders, and closing work-orders when complete. • Continuous Counting and confirming inventory accuracy through Cycle Counts, Physical Inventories, and Location Audits. • Ensure all material are Identified and labeled accordingly, record bin locations in warehouse, and stockroom electronically. • Maintain stockroom and warehouse organization of materials and cleanliness • Comply with ALL safety rules, regulations, and Store Inventory safely and accessible Requirements/Skills: • Minimum 1 – 2 years’ experience in Stockroom, Warehouse, or Receiving capacity • History of using ERP/MRP systems and understand the importance of data integrity. • Teamwork – Ability to work well with others in a team environment • Working Independently – Ability to work independent as needed • Use of Technology Such as Computers, Smartphones, scanners, and Tablets • Problem Solving Abilities • Decision Priority making • Detail Oriented and Organized • Material Movement – Experience with Lift trucks (forklift) and pallet jack • Self-Disciplined – which includes dependability and being a self-starter • Flexibility – Multi-task with the Ability to learn new skills. • Customer Service Mentality • Ability to read and follow verbal instructions • Lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis • Ability to maintain a high level of physicality for prolonged periods and working primarily standing • Willingness to work overtime, including Saturdays if needed • Maintain a Positive Attitude • Steel toed work boots or shoes • Valid CA. Drivers License Education: • High School Graduate
