KANE COUNTY, IL — Kane County surpassed its 2016 vote total before a single vote had been cast on Election Day, according to Clerk John Cunningham. Just over 172,000 Kane County residents voted in the 2016 general election. Kane County topped that total by noon Nov. 2, Cunningham said, after huge increases in early and mail-in voting.
