This is a great community event that provides youth the opportunity to catch fish. This event is in Charleston county on April 23rd from 10am until 12pm. Please arrive 15-30 minutes early to allow time to park and check-in. This is a free event! Additional registration will be available on site until capacity is reached. A limited supply of worms will be available. Reminders: • Bring your own gear • No pets except service animals • No adult fishing • Feel free to pack a picnic lunch • Consider bringing a chair, hat, sunglasses, bug spray and water Address: 1500 Old Towne Rd. You do not need to print off your ticket, however, please check in when you arrive.  Is there a catch limit? There is a 5 fish catch limit. Can I register at the event? Registration will be allowed on the day of the event if capacity allows.  The South Carolina Department of Natural Resources Aquatic Education Section’s mission is to serve as the principal advocate for and steward of South Carolina’s natural resources. We strive to educate the public on recreational fishing techniques, opportunities and angler ethics, as well as provide information to learn about South Carolina’s aquatic ecosystems, how they function and the biology and identification of the species within these ecosystems.
