AURORA, IL — Three brothers are facing attempted murder charges after police alleged they shot at a rival gang member more than four dozen times Sunday afternoon in Aurora, the Daily Herald reports. Christopher Cappucino, 16, was charged as an adult Thursday alongside his older brothers Francisco Perez, 24, and Ismael Perez, 21, the report states. Cappucino and Francisco Perez live in the 200 block of Ohio Street in Aurora, while Ismael Perez lives in Streator, the report states. Search For Missing Man Goes On After Police Scour Forest Preserve Each faces charges of aggravated battery with a weapon, aggravated discharge of a weapon and armed violence, in addition to attempted murder, according to Kane County court records. Police allege the three brothers followed a rival gang member to his home Sunday afternoon, then fired at him while he was sitting in his car, according to the Daily Herald. Aurora police spokesperson Paris Lewbel said officers tracked at least one suspect to a home in the 200 block of Ohio Street, where police spent more than an hour trying to communicate with people inside. Seven people left the home and no injuries were reported after the short standoff, police said. Ismael Perez's bail is set at $600,000, while Francisco Perez's bail was set at $1 million, according to Kane County court records.
