NEW BERLIN, WI — Some of the latest entries on the New Berlin Police Department crime statistics page include: employees at a Walmart in New Berlin reported a strong armed robbery on Sunday, a catalytic converter was partially cut off recently, and several people were cited or arrested in connection with possession of controlled substances. Here's a closer look back at those entries and more from Feb. 15-Wednesday: Catalytic Converter Cut Someone partially cut out the catalytic converter from a vehicle parked at a business on 16800 Ryerson Road on Tuesday evening, police logs said. Retail Theft at Speedway Someone stole multiple things from the Speedway at 14001 West Greenfield Avenue and fled east in a Kia sedan Sunday evening, police logs said. Laptop Stolen From Walmart, Employee Punched Employees at the Walmart at 15205 West Greenfield Avenue told police two men stole an HP computer on Sunday, according to logs. The men had removed the security device from the computer, and when they were exiting the store, one of them punched and threatened an employee, New Berlin police logs said. Damaged Mailbox A resident on 3000 149th Street reported damage to his mailbox at some point between 8 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, logs said. Woman Arrested After Vehicle Found In Ditch Police arrested a New Berlin woman in connection with 4th OWI-1st offense on Feb. 18 around 10:30 p.m. on 2000 South Rogers Court, logs said. Her vehicle was found in a ditch. Three Car Accident Leads To Arrest Police arrested a woman after a three-car accident in connection with OWI 1st offense and OWI causing injury around 11:45 p.m. on Feb. 17 on 5900 Moorland Road, logs said. Tires Slashed At Residence A resident on 13000 Cleveland Avenue told police around 4 p.m. on Feb. 16 the driver's side tire was slashed on her car while it was parked at her residence. Arrests or Citations In Connection With Controlled Substances Online entries from the New Berlin Police Department show there were at least 10 arrests or citations made in connection with possession of controlled substances between Feb. 14 and Wednesday.
