Curry College Extends Remote Learning After More Swastikas Found

MILTON, MA — Remote learning has been extended as an option for students at Curry College in Milton after another message of hate was found Tuesday. The school says they are allowing students to learn remotely for the rest of the week after officials at Curry College found a swastika drawn on the wall in a residence hall Tuesday morning. This drawing is the latest act of hate in a string of anti-Semitic and racist messages found across the campus over the last month. This recurring pattern of hate has prompted the school to allow students to learn from home until Feb. 22, 2022, a date specifically mentioned in one of the latest messages against the Black community, the school said before the newest swastika was found. The school says new cameras have been installed throughout the campus while police and security have upped their presence. The school is offering a $10,000 reward for anyone who can provide information leading to an arrest. School officials say they initiated the reward after two more hateful messages were found on the campus earlier this week, following the discovery of over twenty swastikas around the school earlier this month.
