East Lyme Touch A Truck 2022 - Calling All Vehicles! by June Hoye Calling all vehicles – Trucks (big, small, antique, brand new, or unique), Boats, or Helicopters - we welcome you all. Now is the time for Vehicle Owners to register to participate in the THIRTEENTH Touch A Truck to be held on Saturday, May 21, 2022, at McCook Point Park in Niantic, CT, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. This unique event is co-sponsored by the Thames West Auxiliary of Child and Family Agency of Southeastern Connecticut and the East Lyme Parks and Recreation Department. Increase your visibility, help educate the children, and join in this family fun event. You will be in good company with the East Lyme Parks & Recreation Vehicles, the East Lyme Public Works Vehicles, East Lyme Police Cruisers, Shuttle Buses, Limousines, Box Trucks, Dump Trucks, Tow Trucks, Fire Trucks, US Navy and US Coast Guard Boats, Humvees, Aerial Lift Trucks, and Food Trucks. In past years we have had 2,000 visitors in attendance to meet our truckers and to explore their participating vehicle. We hope that you will join us.
