Billabong Girls Get Out There is a day to give surfing a try and to participate in a Sea Turtle Preservation Workshop! COME SURFING WITH US! There are 4 groups that you are able to choose from; Group 1 - 9am Surfing Lesson/10:30am Sea Turtle Preservation Workshop Group 2 - 9am Sea Turtle Preservation Workshop /10:30am Surfing Lesson Group 3 - 1pm Surfing Lesson/2:30pm Sea Turtle Preservation Workshop Group 4 - 1pm Sea Turtle Preservation Workshop /2:30pm Surfing Lesson Each participant will receive a tote bag, reusable water bottle and rashguard! The surfing lessons and Sea Turtle Preservation Workshop will be held at Shepard Park in Cocoa Beach. Get excited to surf with Ron Jon Surf School and their accredited surfing instructors. Our Sea Turtle Workshop will be led by Brevard Zoo's Sea Turtle Healing Center in partnership with Sea Turtles Preservation Society. $5 from every entry will be donated to the Brevard Zoo's Sea Turtle Healing Center! Either before or after your session you will have the chance to relax and watch all of the surfing action going down at the Ron Jon Beach 'N Boards Fest. Grab your girl gang and pull out the bikini's because it's time to have some FUN! To join us on Saturday, March 12th be sure to sign up before spots fill up! P.S. Please arrive to the Billabong Womens tent 30 minutes before your session to ensure enough time for check in and to receive your goodie bag! See you out there! FAQ'S Is there an age limit? The event is for any young ladies who are 12 years+ Can I bring my own surfboard? You can, but it will be to the discretion of the surf school on the day on whether they will allow you to use or your board or the Surf School's surfboards. Will I be surfing with my friends? You will be able to surf with your friends, but make sure you register in to the same group when you book. Check the booking details before you register. I am an intermediate surfer but would love to join in? The day is open to everyone, the surf school are extremely accommodating and it will depend on numbers in each group on whether or not you will be able to head out the back with the coaches. How much will it cost me and what does it include? The entire 3 hr session will cost $60 + Booking Fee. This includes a surfing lesson, a Sea Turtle Preservation Workshop and a tote bag of goodies.
