Rockville Murder Charges Filed Against Two Silver Spring Men

ROCKVILLE, MD — Two Silver Spring men have been arrested and charged with the murder of 22-year-old Jose Osvaldo Genao Romero in Rockville Feb. 17, Montgomery County Police said. Jackson Alexander Garcia, 18, and Malik Dujuan Jefferson, 23, were both charged with first degree murder and are being held without bond. Police say Rockville City Police and Montgomery County officers responded to calls of a shooting on 14000 Cove Lane Feb. 17 where they found Romero with a gunshot wound. He was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
