Press release from the Arlington Heights Police Department: September 4 2020 The Arlington Heights Police Department is announcing the launch of a youth facemask coloring contest. Grand prize winner of each age category will see their art work printed on cloth facemasks and distributed by Arlington Heights Police Officers at community events. This contest is supported by the Arlington Heights Park District and co-sponsored by BerryYo Fresh Frozen Yogurt (50 N Vail Ave, AH) and Matrix Home Solutions – Arlington Heights. Age Categories: Pre K-Grade 4 │ Grade 5- Grade 8 Rules:The winners will be selected based upon creativity and originality. Children may use crayons,watercolor, pen and ink, markers, etc. to complete the drawing. Submissions will be judged byArlington Heights Police Department Community Services Bureau personnel. Winners will beannounced at our reveal party hosted at BerryYo in Arlington Heights on Friday October 23rd, 2020 at 4:00pm (attendance not required, but encouraged!). Winners' artwork will be featured on our official Arlington Heights Police Department's youth face masks. Every child who submits a completed mask coloring design will receive a coupon for a free 12oz Yogurt at BerryYo in Arlington Heights redeemable at the reveal party! One entry per child. Copies of the Arlington Heights Police "Protect with Police" Coloring Contest sheets are available online at www.ahpd.org, www.vah.com and at the Arlington Heights Police Department or BerryYo in Arlington Heights. Completed submissions may scanned and emailed to [email protected] or dropped off at BerryYo in Arlington Heights or the front desk of the Arlington Heights Police Department.
