SANTA MONICA, CA — Sarah Spitz captured this stunning light across Santa Monica after rainfall and thunder last week. Here's what Spitz told Patch: It was still raining lightly after the rainbow disappeared last Tuesday when I turned away from the sunset to look behind me. The light was surreal. Later as the sun set, a sudden burst of light illuminated the sage at the top end of Palisades Park.Thank you, Sarah, for sharing your photo with Patch readers.
