MAPLE GROVE, MN — A 34-year-old man is accused of killing an 86-year-old woman Wednesday. Just before 5 p.m., the Maple Grove Police Department responded to the scene on 82nd Avenue where offices found three women with life-threatening injuries. All three were hospitalized, but one later died. The two others are in critical condition. Police arrested David Ekers at the scene and he has been charged with three counts of second-degree murder.
