LAKEWOOD, OH — New Cleveland Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski was introduced this week. During his press conference, Stefanski quipped that he was still getting to know Cleveland and had not yet formed an opinion on the age-old debate: East Side or West Side? Well, Lakewood City Councilman John Litten has an answer: "obviously West Side." But he made a special appeal to Stefanski to help sway him toward the western suburbs. The 37-year-old Stefanski spent nearly two decades with the Minnesota Vikings, most recently as their offensive coordinator. Given his storied tenure with that franchise, Litten quipped he may find himself at home at the L.B.M. Bar — a viking-themed establishment — on Madison Avenue. We have a Viking bar in @LakewoodOhio if you miss your old team, so obviously West Side. https://t.co/Kjj9Dfs61g— Councilman Litten (@LittenForLkwd) January 14, 2020 "Of course we'd welcome the new coach to visit Lakewood or even move his family here. With great schools, classic homes, our walkability and this community of people as a whole, I can't imagine a better place," Litten, who represents Lakewood's Ward 3, told Patch. Stefanski will hopefully have plenty of time to pick his geographical alignment, but recent history suggests he may not want to get too attached to either the East or West Side. After all, his predecessor was fired after one season and Stefanski is the 18th head coach in Cleveland Browns history. Stefanski's introductory press conference is below.
