Description
PALO ALTO, CA — At least 15 babies, including a set of twins, were born at Stanford's Lucile Packard Children's Hospital on Tuesday — a unique palindromic date of February 22, 2022.
The twins, Minika and Mishika Adlakha, were born a minute apart — at 8:44 a.m. and 8:45 a.m. — and they arrived a week early. Their names mean "beautiful and precious gifts from God."
"I am generally bad with numbers, but these are a set of numbers that I will always remember," said Rahul Taneja, the twins' dad. "This is literally a once-in-a-lifetime day for my family."
Taneja and his wife, Prachi Adlakha, are first-time parents.
There were also five cesarian sections scheduled on Tuesday, the first ubiquitous six-digit palindrome date since November 11, 2011.
