St. Edward Football Announces 2020 Schedule

LAKEWOOD, OH — St. Edward High School's football program joined the ranks of the truly elite this week, announcing a partnership with Nike's Elite Football Family. Only 40 high schools nationwide are part of the program. As part of the celebration following the announcement, the high school announced the schedule for the 2020 Eagles football team. The team will begin play on August 29 in Lakewood, when they square off with Washington, D.C. based school HD Woodson. That game will be played in Lakewood Stadium. The annual rivalry game between St. Ed's and St. Ignatius will be played either Oct. 9 or Oct. 10. The location of the game has not yet been revealed. Previous contests between the schools have been held at FirstEnergy Stadium, home of the Cleveland Browns.
