Press release from City of Moorpark: February 22, 2022 At the beginning of the year, Waste Management implemented a new trash pick-up schedule throughout the City. Due to this change, some streets had trash pick-up and street sweeping occur on the same day. To address this change, the City needed to revise its street sweeping schedule. While the street sweeping schedule was being revised, the City temporarily suspended issuing parking tickets during street sweeping. The City will resume ticketing vehicles that remain on City streets during street sweeping times beginning Monday, February 28, 2022.  The City is sending letters to approximately 600 homes whose street sweeping schedule has changed. The City's street sweeping web page has already been updated, and social media posts and email blasts will also help inform residents throughout the City about the resumption of street sweeping ticketing.  Residents can view additional information about the City's street sweeping, including the City's street sweeping map and schedule, by visiting www.moorparkca.gov/StreetSweeping.  This press release was produced by the City of Moorpark.
