A white Honda sedan, which appeared to have Wisconsin license plates, could be seen parked on the river Saturday, the Twin Cities Pioneer Press reports.

The car was removed that day but not before its questionable parking spot generated numerous 911 calls, a Stillwater police captain told the outlet.
Greg Schulz, a licensed drone operator who runs the "Pictures Over Stillwater" website and social media accounts, posted a photo of the car, showing it had driven almost to docks on the Stillwater side of the St. Croix River before backing up.

Schulz wrote on his website that the car appeared to have gotten stuck after driving onto the frozen river Friday.
It's "not uncommon to see vehicles out of frozen lakes and rivers" during the winter in Minnesota, but vehicles from Wisconsin usually "do not venture over towards Stillwater on this patch of the river," Schulz wrote.
