We are a small residential care company providing services for adults with developmental disabilities. We are seeking weekend staff. Choose to work every or every other weekend. Hours are from Friday at 4p through Sunday at 4p. Staff will assist clients with in-home as well as community activities including assistance to prepare meals, do laundry, housekeeping and leisure time activities such as playing games, puzzles or cards. Provide personal care assistance. Go on picnics, to the movies, out to eat and other community activities. A private sleeping area is provided as well as meals throughout the weekend. There is a fair amount of ‘quiet time’ which would provide a student with time to complete studies making this a great part time job for someone going to school. A single parent may be able to a child to work with you. Our requirements: at least 18 years of age, an acceptable background and a desire to assist others. All training is provided.
